Bonnie Wright is a spectacular actress. She is just as I imagined Ginny Weasley. And she's absolutely stunning, so they don't need someone 'hotter'.

They would never change her this late into the series anyway.

I think that Bonnie does a good job as Ginny. We really haven't seen enough of her to judge her though...

She looks fine to me. I personally think she's quite attractive and exactly how I thought she would look while reading the books.

btw since when does every person have to be a super model?

/side note: that red head from willow was pretty attractive although now she would be like 40 lol. Maybe it would work? j/k

I think Ginny was meant to be hotter.

But I don't give a crap, it's not going to change the story at all.

I agree that they don't need a new Ginny. Bonnie Wright is perfect! she has done a marvolous job, and is very pretty! Besides with movies they can maker attractive, and she has ALOT of confidence which also shines through in beauty. She is a splendid actress, and as for her being older than Ginny --- Daniel Radcliff and Rupert Griant are older than Harry & Ron.

I would be incredably angry if they replaced her for a "better looking" actress. In the books Ginny is a strong, intelligent, impulisve, caring girl who doesn't get enough screen time in the movies. HBP is really going to be her "break out". Don't judge what Bonnie can do until you see six, even than. Bonnie fits her perfectly, if they change Ginny I will refuse to watch DH no matter how much the book is my fave.

As for Hermione & Harry, are you kidding me? didn't DH explain anything to you? they are like brother and sister, always have been. Better off as Best Friends than Boyfriend/Girlfriend, Husband/Wife. Ginny may have started off as a "fan girl" of Harry but she's matured into a woman who loves him, I don't think Hermione could ever see him as Ginny does.

She already hot and she match well with Daniel..

I was just rereading the novels and there's definitely foreshadowing for a Ginny-Harry and Ron-Hermoine hook up from even the first book. Though I don't think Bonnie Wright is as pretty as Ginny should be, she's far from ugly. I agree she really didn't look up to snuff in the first two books, but seeing pictures from HBP has silenced any thoughts I've had of her being "ugly." But, let's be honest, all the girls are pretty off. Cho and Fleur are supposed to be gorgeous and they're not even close. The Patel (Padma and Pavarti?) twins are supposed to be really pretty and they're really not. Hermoine is supposed to be fairly ugly because she never tries to look pretty, but they clearly try to make Emma look gorgeous in the movies (she is). So, the point being, if you're going to complain about Bonnie ad Ginny, you might as well complain about every other female role.

I agree that I don't really think that Bonnie has the right "look" for Ginny. She's perfectly attractive in her own sense, but doesn't look like I imagine Ginny to look. Ginny is supposed to have a very "in-your-face" sort of beauty while retaining the girl-next-door look. She's supposed to be your best friend's hot sister.

While Bonnie is certainly beautiful, she has a much more unapproachable look and no-nonsense look. She sort of looks like she'd eat you alive if you would ask her for a date. Not that this is a bad thing, but it doesn't fit the character.

However I have this complaint with nearly every actress in this series. The males are OK...but the females are dreadful.

She's the best Ginny you could find in my opinion.

They didn't choose her just because, i don't know, she's got red hair or because she was the first girl that they saw on the street,

They chose her for a very good reason.
