I agree that they are just a fad.
Many people are successful world wide and are just part of a fad
i.e. most musicians from the 80's and 90's

Exactly, NOW many people like them but thats not to say they won't die out like so many bands before them.
All of my friends who are aged 16-20 have never even heard of Tokio Hotel, yet if you ask a 12 year old they would be all like ZOMGOD BILL KAULITZ IS MAH BOYFRIANNNNNNND. And I only know one band who survives off the support of stupid pre-teens and that is My Chemical Romance *shudders*

musically confused?
we all have different tastes in music and i dont that screamo music stuff tht bands are putting out for the hell of it and i can see where you may think TH is one of those bands but they arent.

I dont think you quite understand me; Tokio Hotel were better when pre-teens werent jumping around claiming their undying love for them, before they became a public fad.

i admit, i was a teenybopper before like what Ashy said. before i went to PF i was like in TH forums "OMFG, ICH LIEBE DICH BILL KAULITZ!!" on my sig, and also the "th" on my username stands for "tokio hotel", not a typo error.(so i am "tokio hotel crazy auror= thcrazyauror ")
until something ironic happened to me that changed me lots. i reflected on myself and i realized even if i dont say it to my classmates, personal friends and people i personally meet everyday, it's embarrising to say such things even on the internet, it loses respect from forum mates and chat mates just like in real life. and what if Bill is not the kind of person the media says about him-innocent, childish, feminine. what if he's the opposite? what if he's the kind of person you dont really want to be with? then all of my efforts for "declaring my undying love" for him is just a waste of time, tears and effort.
so that's why i stopped but im still a TH and Bill fan but not that much crazy.

In the beginning of this year, Tokio Hotel had made me a true fan. My top favorite songs by Tokio Hotel is "Monsoon" "Ready Set Go" "Scream".

very cool. 
i remember what Gerard Way once said "If for one minute you think you're better than a sixteen year old girl in a Green Day t-shirt, you are sorely mistaken. Remember the first time you went to a show and saw your favorite band. You wore their shirt, and sang every word. You didn't know anything about scene politics, haircuts, or what was cool. All you knew was that this music made you feel different from anyone you shared a locker with. Someone finally understood you. This is what music is about." so if Tokio Hotel's only a teeny band for you guys, at least their music helped other people cope with their problems the same way as your fave singer or band did so i don't diss out other artists anymore even though they are not great for me, out of respect.

No way. I'm just glad I found another Bill lover who loves Harry Potter as well!

i got to admit, it's really hard to be a Harry Potter/ Tokio Hotel fan at the same time. i see HP fans giving up for TH and that's sad but i don't want to give up my 5 year old love for Harry Potter. and all those TH forums that i went to before are kinda bad. like the last one i've been, i got in a fight with the admin that i got myself banned.

Aw...that's so sad! =(
I love both Harry Potter and Tokio Hotel equally, it's very hard to decide which one I love better...acutally, I have a third, too: Sailor Moon. It's been my childhood show and I still love it.
HP fans giving up for TH? Wow. As much as I love Tokio Hotel, I would never do that either...
