So I was flipping through this weeks copy of Entertainment Weekly and my eyes jumped to this picture...
Spoiler:
The picture was on top of a blurb about the movie "Yes Man" starring Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel. I am not a huge fan of Jim Carrey, but I'm kind of interested to know how the scene from this picture plays out in the movie.
The movie, by the way, is about a guy who can't so no. Literally. He is somehow unable to say no to anyone.
Well it's about a man (Carrey) who, after saying no to everything his whole life, decides to start saying yes to everything. I think it is only for one year. The movie looks good and I've been a Carrey fan since I was just a kid, so I'm looking forward to it a lot. Hopefully the HP scene is good.
I think the concept reminds me too much of Liar, Liar. I did enjoy that movie, to an extent... but I don't think it's always a good idea to recycle an old idea. Oh well, I'm still curious about that HP scene, though. _________________ Blame it on a simple twist of fate ~ Bob Dylan Team Cucumber, FTW!
I agree with it being like Liar, Liar, but if it comes out at the cinema near me, then I might go and see it. _________________ Yas and Simmy - putting Luna on catwalks since 2008!
I fail to see how it's too similar to Liar, Liar. That film was about a man who could not like for one day, because of a wish made by his son. Whereas this film is about a man who decides (it's not forced to) to say yes to everything for one year.
There will be similar humor because it's Jim Carrey, so his sense of humor carries over, but that is the extent of the similarities, how I see it. That's like saying Liar, Liar is too similar to Ace Ventura. Different plot, same humor.
Made me laugh, looks good enough to see. =] _________________ Peace is a lie. There is only passion.

isn't Jim Carrey Bruce Almighty and Count Olaf )from Lemony Snicket's a series of unfortunate events)? then it's cool that he's a Gryffie.... _________________ my first ever fan fic!!!The adventures of Jamie, wizard in training
My dad was watching some show about the movie last night and I walked in. There is a bungee jumping stunt and Jim Carey actually does it himself. Its pretty intense
